TJ International takes pride in a long-standing commitment to safe working practices

With state-of-the-art safety practices, we align ourselves with key industry standards organisations and engage in a range of work-place safety programmes, which go beyond standard legislative requirements.

We have an excellent safety record and have strengthened our position as a respected leading printing organisation. As a result we have been awarded the overall best practice BPIF Award for Safety, six years running.

BPIF Member

The H&S Competent Person has an NVQ Level 4 in Occupational H&S awarded by C&G in 2008 and preceded by NVQ Level 3. They have also undergone specific training in Stress Awareness & Spillage Control.

All Managers and H&S Representatives have been trained up to Level 2 in Risk Management, H&S, Spillage Control and Fire Marshalling training.

All existing and new employees undertake Foundation H&S Level 2 courses via the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).

Directors have been trained in their legal responsibilities as Board Members.

In 2011 all employees received Manual Handling refresher training through a CIEH Level 2 course. Specified staff also undertook a Spillage Control refresher.
